Music to Cheer You!

German Bach specialist Alexander Weimann, who made his PBO last December with Handel's Messiah, returns in a program of virtuoso instrumental music, featuring trumpet and pipes (recorders and oboes in this case) to celebrate the start of the holiday season.

Weimann's dazzling harpsichord playing will be center-stage with the keyboard version (BWV 1057) of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 (BWV 1049) - one of Monica's own showstoppers.
