CANCELLATION UPDATE as of Tuesday, February 11

Due to the extreme weather conditions, and the City of Portland’s emergency alert issued early Sunday morning, PBO was forced to cancel the performance scheduled for Sunday, Feb 9 at 3pm at Kaul Auditorium, Reed College.

In addition to those holding tickets for Sunday’s performance, we know that many of you who did not make it to our Saturday afternoon performance (replacing Friday evening), and Saturday evening regular performance of “The Classical Concerto,” may have planned to attend at Reed College Sunday at 3:00pm. We regret that this concert substitution was not possible on account of the weather emergency.

Please email us at if you would like to donate the value of your unused tickets to Portland Baroque Orchestra as a tax-deductible contribution.  This will help us defray the cost of musician wages that were paid for the performances that took place earlier this weekend. The staff, board and musicians of PBO are extremely grateful for donations such as these to help relieve the considerable financial impact created by situations beyond our control, such as this weekend’s weather.

If you would like to discuss other possibilities, such as exchanging tickets for a future performance, please write to, or call us during business hours at 503-222-6000 x100, M-F, 10am-4pm.  Please leave a message if you cannot reach a staff member.  We will do our best to to respond to all inquiries over the next week.

Thank you for your patronage of Portland Baroque Orchestra.  PBO would not exist without you and your commitment to our music and our mission.
