Rebecca Myers

Philadelphia-based soprano Rebecca Myers is a soloist, collaborator, recording artist, and creator. Specializing in vocal repertoire, spanning from the Medieval to scores written especially for her, Rebecca has gained a reputation for her “timbral clarity and flawless pitch,” “nimble coloratura” (South Florida Classical Review) and “an appealing blend of vulnerability and grace” (SF Gate).

Myers was featured in the world premiere and recording of Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg’s Any of Those Decembers for four solo voices, string quartet, and piano with Lyric Fest. Other recent highlights have included performing as soprano soloist in Carmina Burana with the New World Symphony under Patrick Dupré Quigley; singing the roles of Vagaus in Vivaldi’s rarely performed work Juditha Triumphans and Telaire in a highlights concert of Rameau’s Castor et Pollux; and singing in the European premiere of Philip Lasser’s The Mask in the Mirror at the historic Institute de France with Verità Baroque.

Rebecca Myers is the Artistic Director, and a founding soprano, in the genre-bending, vocal chamber ensemble, Variant 6. In this leadership position, she curates programs of virtuosic and obscure works from all eras of history in new and surprising ways, engaging artists throughout the country.

In 2023, Myers was a featured soloist on the GRAMMY® award-winning album Born, recorded with The Crossing. She has appeared on over twenty-five acclaimed commercial recordings with The Crossing, Variant 6, Seraphic Fire, Lyric Fest, and Lorelei Ensemble. She appears on two GRAMMY® award-winning albums (Best Choral performance 2018 and 2022) and eight GRAMMY® nominated albums.
