A featured member of Philharmonia, and Portland Baroque Orchestras, Jolianne Einem resides in Humboldt County, with a lively performing and international touring career. As part of the HIP duo Les Conversation Galantes or the eclectic Flying Oms, she performs in a variety of styles from baroque to jazz or rock, with violinist Rob Diggins. She also teaches and performs on electric bass. She studied baroque violin with Monica Huggett, recording and touring with Monica Huggett’s Trio Sonnerie, Hausmusik, and the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, under Ton Koopman. She also studied violin with Alex Treger at UCLA and Alice Schoenfeld at USC.

Jolianne is featured on Portland Baroque Orchestra’s recording of J. S. Bach: Concertos for one, two, and three violins, and her many other recordings include: Mendelssohn Octet with Hausmusik (EMI), Early Music of the Netherlands with Trio Sonnerie (Emergo), Venice Before Vivaldi with El Mundo (Koch), Eighteenth Century Music for Lute and Strings with Trio Galanterie (Audioquest), 18th century concerti with Archetti (Centaur Records), Flower Fairies (Music for Little People) and on bass, the EP Veins Vines and Cables with daughter March Adstrum.
