First Baptist Church
Located in the heart of downtown Portland, First Baptist Church is a historic building with an intimate, warm atmosphere, and great acoustics. The main entrance is on Taylor Street near the corner of SW 12th (1110 SW Taylor St). This entrance requires the use of stairs. The ADA entrance is on 12th Street between Taylor and Salmon.
Accessibility
First Baptist Church is ADA accessible for seating on the main floor through the ADA entrance on SW 12th between Salmon and Taylor. Please contact us at 503-222-6000 for questions and assistance with wheelchair seating.
**Please note that there are no elevators to the balcony level. Therefore, those who are mobility impaired or have difficulty with stairs should select seating on the main floor.
Parking
First Baptist Church does not have a dedicated parking lot. On-street parking is $2/hr and metered until 7 PM. Please purchase parking at available kiosks or through the Parking Kitty App.
There are also paid surface lots located on 11th and 12th Avenues, and a Smart Park garage within a few blocks on SW 10th Avenue (across from the Library). Please allow yourself sufficient time to find parking, or, if it is an option for you, use public transportation. The Streetcar and Max both have stops very close to the venue. On Portland Timbers and Thorn game nights parking can be scarce. Please plan accordingly.
